About Author

Prof. Surender Bhutani (b.1943) is working, at present, as Visiting Professor to the Polish Academy of Science, Warsaw. He was associated with the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, Arab Cultural Centre, New Delhi, Warsaw University and St Antony's College, Oxford. He has written seven books on the Arab World and then Soviet Union, apart from 60 research papers on different aspects of international politics.
