About the Book

The book ‘Coronavirus and Education: Opportunities and Challenges’ explores the educational issues faced during COVID-19. The papers contributed by the scholars have scrutinized the role of digital education, responsibility of teachers, wellness and mental health of youth, ecological learning, impact of lockdown on reading habits etc.

The book would provide a critical opportunity to learn more about the major underpinning large-scale transformative change, as is needed in many education systems around the world. About Author

Dr. Harpreet Kaur, Principal of Khalsa College of Education, Amritsar, is M.A. (English), M.Ed., M.Phil. and Ph.D. (Education). She has been teaching graduate and post-graduate classes for the last 30 years. She has to her credit more than 55 published research papers.

Dr. Maninder Kaur, Assistant Professor at Khalsa College of Education, Amritsar, Punjab, is M.Sc. (Hons.) Economics, M.A. Philosophy, M.Ed., PhD. (Education). She has been teaching postgraduate and graduate classes for the last 23 years.

Dr. Deepika Kohli is Assistant Professor at Khalsa College of Education, GT Road, Amritsar. She was awarded PhD. Degree by Panjab University Chandigarh. She has teaching and research experience of 12 years in teacher education institutions.
